Super Bowl XLVIII brings mixed emotions

Super Bowl XLVIII between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos leaves me with a bittersweet taste.
On one hand, I can care less who wins between these two teams, especially since my San Francisco 49ers aren't in the game.
But on the other hand, the game brings a close to football season. I'll be going through some withdrawal next week.
For those who know me very well, can attest I'm a football junkie. My weekly routine revolves around the pigskin (I've often told my girlfriend about scheduling stuff around games). If being addicted to football was illegal, I'd have a life sentence.
Usually at this time of year, I exercise more and end up writing a few books about football to help me through this difficult time.
As far as a prediction, I think the Denver Broncos will win 27-23.
Enjoy Super Sunday....

I'm sorry that you are feeling a loss with the end of football. If I had a team that won...hello Lions or Browns...no point!

With the horrible weather, I've given up on football. Too much snow shoveling to feel excited about a game.

I love football. I love the game. It's a right of fall. Now that winter has arrived...sigh.. is it Spring and baseball season yet?

I grew up in Alabama, where football's a religion and year-long sport. I've fallen out of love with baseball because of the steroids....And my Oakland A's aren't winning!

I have never been afootball, K.T., but I'm a huge college basketball fan. Rock Chalk, Jayhawks. Grin!

I know you love the Kansas Jayhawks, sandy. Until Bill Self won a national title, it must've been hard to watch Roy Williams fall short every year!

I'm a little lukewarm about this year's Super Bowl too...not really for either team but I'll watch for the All American experience.

I felt that way when Alabama didn't make BCS title game. I'll enjoy the game, not root for neither.
